About 

Gearóid an MBA graduate from Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business at UCD and a Computer Science Graduate from Trinity College Dublin has extensive management and coaching experience spanning his 28+ years in business. This experience has been gained in both the Private and Public Sectors. He is currently an Associate faculty member at the Irish Management Institute where he is involved in the Grow and High Potential mangers programmes and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business at UCD where he is a lecturer on the MSc in Project Mgt course and the MBS in Consulting.  Gearóid has successfully developed his own consulting & coaching practice since 1996.

He works with organisations to help them develop their strategic plans and organisational goals.  Gearóid then engages with the management teams and individuals to help them align their goals with the organisational goals. In previous projects he has developed and implemented Balanced Score cards, Performance Mgt systems & Competency frameworks in support of corporate strategies and strategic goals. He has the support network of a team of consultants to assist in the design and implementation of Management Development Programmes as well as other interventions to align management skills and competencies with those that are required moving forward to ensure successful implementation by new strategies and organisational goals.

For a number of years he has worked with the Executives and Senior Managers in one of Irelands largest Financial Services Companies providing 360 feedback and coaching support in a pressured environment.  Gearóid is also working with Assistant Commissioners and Chief Superintendent’s in An Garda Síochanna who are undertaking the Executive Leadership Programme.

Gearóid is a Director of Junior Achievement Ireland.  Junior Achievement brings business volunteers into the classroom to teach enterprise skills to young people and encourages those at risk of leaving the educational system early to stay and complete their education.

GPH was setup in July 1996 by Gearóid Hardy. The areas of business that GPH Consulting has engaged in has evolved and grown since 1996.  Initially set up as IT Consulting Company, GPH is now a company devoted to helping Senior Executives and Organisations to realise their potential. The services offered range from Strategic Planning sessions, to the development of Balanced Scorecards and the associated Performance Management systems to support these, to executive coaching and business mentoring. GPH is involved in Business & Executive education withy both the IMI and Smurfit Graduate school of Business.

GPH has built a support network of a team of consultants to assist in the design and implementation of Management Development Programmes and other interventions to align management skills and competencies to business strategies and Project Delivery.
